Simple Child - Friendly Veggie Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (broccoli florets, bell peppers, snap peas, carrots)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  2. Add the mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until they are crisp-tender but still colorful.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic.

  4. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and toss everything together until the vegetables are coated evenly.

  5. Continue to stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken slightly.

  6. Serve the simple veggie stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles.
